Excellent location! near a beautiful park, minutes walking to underground station
-
Easy to get to metro and the Cosmonautics museum across the street and also access to city center
-
location, value for money, rich breakfast
One day the room wasn't cleaned.

The location is not central, but due to the proximity to the WDNH it is excellent! Super view from the window (23rd floor)!!!!
The system is getting old but value for money is good.

Breakfast was rich. A typical breakfast is offered. Warm dishes, salads and fruit, rolls, bread and sweet pastries are just as much a part of it as muesli, yoghurt or various hot drinks.
Defective shower head holder in the bathroom. If possible, this should be repaired immediately, because the service staff should see. That was too bad.

The view. The food was simple, but tasty. There were even drinks (coffee. tea. juice or water).
It stinks of smoke in the hallway. *We had booked a romantic package next to the HP. It was not further described. but according to the picture it was a meal up in the restaurant with sparkling wine. We received this cold sparkling wine with fresh fruit plate in the said restaurant and were allowed to take it with us to the room, nice. but it has nothing to do with romance.

Great price at 43 dollars overnight. Very good buffet breakfast. Good location within 6 minutes walking distance to mini supermarket and metro VDNKh and banks. Beautiful park nearby. Staff very friendly who could speak English and other languages. For business travelers or individuals on their own there is a club that proved to be very entertaining. Also if you happen to be of oriental descent there is plenty opportunity to mingle with other nationalities which matches the history of the hotel evidenced by a beautiful statue of a woman holding a dove indicating world friendship from the 1980 Olympics.
The most amazing thing I found was there was no ability to change money at the hotel. The shops and services there would only accept roubles not dollars in my case. When I asked one employee why that was the case he said he did not care? Although this might be a small thing it effectively stops a resident of the hotel from using the hotel services. You cannot charge the restaurant to the room and if you do not have a credit card at that point the hotel loses its purpose.

Location
Hotel is disaster - dirty rooms and bathroom, old furniture maybe from Brezniev times, long que at check in, problems with invoice as confirmation of the stay. Staff seem to be angry on you but probably they are tired - hotel is huge. Poor breakfast with hundreds of people , security check at the lift , restaurant you feel like under total control. Yes they have swimming pool but entrance fee - 20€ !!!!, free internet only in the hotel lobby. Constant noise in the room - prospect Mira is near, heating has no regulation. Moscow is expensive but prices in cosmos are rather high comparing to what they offer.

Old and smelly room, nothing like in photos of Booked.net Very dissapointing.
-
Not so far from the downtown price is very cheap for Moscow
Soviet Style room very badly ventilated Old furniture
-
Good location and proximity to metro, shops, resturants, and parks.
Staff was a little unhelpful at times, even when they appeared to be doing nothing.
-
Comfortable, close to the metro.
Everything in the hotel is very old, evewhere there is a smell of kitchen. The frigobar was empty.

I stayed in one of the renovated double/twin rooms... 1) It was bigger than expected. I was expecting a room like you would find in the average Western European hotel but what I got was something comparable to what we expect to see in the U.S. 2) The room was clean and well stocked with plenty of towels. 3) The complimentary (Russian style) breakfast buffet. 4) Across the street from the Metro. 5) Different variety of restaurants. 6) Money exchange offered better rates than the airport. 7) Convenient ATMs. 8) Better than most Russian hotels in cleanliness, quality, and cost.
1) The hotel uses there own exchange rate when converting dollars to rubles so I paid slightly more than quoted. 2) Besides the breakfast nothing is complimentary. 3) No iron in room... ironing service is extra $$. 4) No outside line on the phone... outside line is extra $$ and pre-pay. 5) No free WiFi in room... free Wifi in lobby area and some second floor restaurants and bars... Wifi in room costs $$$ (3 hours cost what I pay for monthly access at home). 6) Heat/Air Condition is pre-set and can only be changed by use of remote that was not left in my room. Must contact floor maid (if you speak Russian) or front desk to change the temperature to your liking. This usually takes more than one call or visit.
